An early view of the chantry when when pews were in situ. This picture is deceiving as it gives the viewer a false feeling of depth to the interior, when infact you can seat just about 50 people. At a wedding in 1977 there were over 120 people both seated and standing, not leaving much room for the bridal party to proceed down the chapel. |
